A 12-count case of our Naturally Crystallized 10 oz Jar at a discount.

Naturally crystallized honey’s smooth, creamy texture is preferred over liquid honey by many who appreciate it’s ease-of-use and versatility. Spread it like butter over bread, toast, biscuits, bagels, muffins, pancakes or anything else—without dripping! Or, enjoy it stirred into a hot mug of coffee or tea.

About the honey:
Raw, wildflower (polyfloral) honey from treatment-free hives in Urbana, IL. Our honey is:

Unheated – to preserve delicate flavor, aroma and enzymes.

Unfiltered – to retain its diverse selection of local pollen grains.

Treatment-free – to prevent contamination from in-hive pesticides.

Note: Unlike creamed/whipped/spun honey which involves pasteurization at 140–160°F, naturally crystallized uses raw honey which has never been heated and has been allowed to crystallize spontaneously.

About the jar:
A glass Mason jar holding 10 oz of honey. This non-shouldered “jelly” glass with straight sides allows for easy scooping of the delicious crystallized honey. Metal lid with Plastisol liner seals in freshness.

Note: All honey will crystallize, given enough time.

Raw honeycomb, hand-cut from the wooden frame and boxed in a 4-inch container.

About the honey:
Raw, wildflower (polyfloral) honeycomb from treatment-free hives in Urbana, IL. Each slice is:

Unheated – to preserve delicate flavor, aroma and enzymes.

Unfiltered – to retain its diverse selection of local pollen grains.

Treatment-free – to prevent contamination from in-hive pesticides.

Note: Honey in the comb and sealed by the bees is as raw as it gets. Each slice of comb honey, including the beeswax, is perfectly edible. Releasing the honey-filled cells into your mouth is truly a unique experience. Try pairing comb honey with fresh fruit, rich cheese, or crusty bread for a delicious spread. Available in limited quantities.

About the box:
Made from high-quality, food-grade polystyrene, each 4×4-inch square container allows for a honeycomb slice of around 10 to 14-ounces, as the bees don’t make every cell the same depth.

About the jar:
A beautiful reproduction of the square, apothecary-style jar used by Charles F. Muth (1833–1898) of Cincinnati, Ohio. It was one of the first jars produced specifically for liquid honey—made available by the invention of the honey extractor. This jar has a skep beehive relief with the words “ONE POUND PURE HONEY.” Perfect gift for the tea drinker. Makes for a unique keepsake or bud vase when emptied.
